We’re thrilled to officially launch an exciting new service for our parent community: the VICTA Parent Network: Voice, a podcast created especially for parents of children and young people with vision impairment.

This podcast has been designed as a space for honest conversations, shared experiences, and supportive discussions on the topics that matter most to families. From navigating everyday challenges to celebrating milestones, this is a place to connect and feel supported by others who truly understand your journey.

Our first episode will be released at the end of the month, and it will be available on all major podcast platforms, making it easy for you to listen whenever and wherever it suits you.

Throughout 2026, we’ll be sharing bi-monthly episodes, covering a wide range of themes. You’ll hear from parents, professionals, and vision impaired adults and young people, within our community.  Sharing stories, guidance, and inspiration that highlight the experiences of families living with vision impairment.

In addition, we are excited to announce that the VICTA Changemakers programme will also be hosting podcasts on alternating months. This new series, called ‘See It our way’, will amplify the voices of young people with vision impairment, giving them the platform to share their stories, perspectives, and insights on the world from their point of view. Together, these two podcast series will provide a full spectrum of perspectives, from parent to youth. Enriching our community and connecting families in new and meaningful ways.

We can’t wait to bring you these conversations and hope that both podcasts become a valuable part of your support network.
