Here is some festive slime inspiration… with being able to add colours, scents, glitter- whatever takes your fancy, this is a great 5-13 age range project, where you can learn about combining ingredients to make something tangible and sensory!

Ingredients:

1 cup Elmer’s White Glue
4 tsp. Saline Contact Solution
¼ cup Water
1 cup Sensitive Shaving Cream
1 T. Molasses
1 T. Cinnamon
1 tsp. Cloves
1 T. Ginger
1 tsp. Cloves

Mix glue, hot water and saline solution together to start! Only add the saline solution bit by bit!

Add the baking soda, food colouring of your choice (we went for a very festive red), then add Christmas spices- such as cinnamon, to give it an amazing smell as well as a bright colour!  You can add glitter at this point too- give it some sparkle!

Its important to keep mixing it to thicken it up, the saline solution is the magic ingredient to make it all stick together!

Nead it with your hands to give it some shape!

And hey presto you have some lovely festive theme slime 🙂

Use gingerbread biscuit cutters to finish! Ho Ho Ho
